Social spaces are designed to reduce isolation, promote purpose, and facilitate personal connections. Place Science is a critical component of this model. Functional design elements—such as scale, layout, and familiar décor—support navigation and reduce confusion. Place Science embraces the concept of "home," creating spaces that feel comforting and personalized. Safety is a priority, with designs that minimize fall risks and prevent hazardous situations.
